This website was started by Kumaran Poonan, a small business owner. He encountered frustration in accessing  incentives for his business interests. This was due to each incentive program having complicated and different selection criteria. (eg BEE %, company age, number of employees, women ownership %, turnover , etc). To make it worse there are over 100 programs.He imagined that many other businesses would simply walk away disillusioned as well, as it could take many days to sift through the information ( if they could first find all the programs through the various websites, pamphlets, articles, etc), and work out which ones they could apply for. This site makes it easy in that the business enters their unique company information, and a report can be generated for all applicable programs based on the information entered.

Kumaran is a director at Spectrum Technical Pty (Ltd),( www.spectrumtechnical.co.za), a company specialising in equipment supply and consulting to the metallurgical industry. He is also a member of Isandiso Piping Systems, a supplier & installer of hdpe piping, pvc piping, pumps, valves, irrigation systems, water meters and various fittings, as well as a partner with SSE Designs cc, a project management company focussed on turnkey mechanical projects.
